About Us
Where are we from?
The guesthouse Kirchthaler, built in 1844 and reopened in 2019 as the Hotel Vaduzerhof after renovations, is the corner building between the present-day town center and the formerly historic village center of Altenbach. From 1862 to 1967, the first Liechtenstein Parliament convened here.

Always this foehn wind!
The old, historic village center, also called "Altabach," got its name from a small stream that flowed from the Kelberweid meadow on the mountain down into the village. On a foehn wind day in October 1907, a large part of the old village center of Altenbach was destroyed by a devastating fire and later rebuilt. Today, the road from the lower village past the Vaduzerhof to the "Metteldorf" area still bears the name Altenbach.

Our vision
Colorful, cheeky, relaxed, innovative, visionary – different
With professional creativity, we bring a smile to our guests' faces. Altenbach should be a meeting place at the entrance to the town, where young and old can come together, meet, and relax. We want to create a place where well-being is in the focus.
